Upper Help
Mobile Driver App

Log into the driver app

Sign in to the Upper driver app with your email and the password Upper sent you. Lost it? Ask your admin to reset your password from the web dashboard.

Sign in to the Upper driver app with your own email address and the password tied to your driver account. Once you are signed in, the routes your dispatcher assigns to you appear in the app, ready to navigate. The app keeps you signed in across sessions until you sign out or your admin signs you out.

Depending on how your workspace is set up, the app may refer to you as a driver or a technician. The sign-in steps are the same either way.

When your dispatcher adds you as a driver, Upper emails you a password. Use that password together with your own email address to sign in.

Open the Upper driver app on your phone.

Enter the email address your dispatcher used to add you.

Enter your password — the one Upper emailed you (or a new one your admin set for you).

Tap to sign in. Your assigned routes load automatically.

Use the same email address your dispatcher has on file for you. If you are not sure which address that is, ask your dispatcher to confirm it before you try to sign in.

If you don't have a password or it isn't working

Your password is set by Upper (emailed to you) and can be reset by your admin from the web dashboard. If you can't sign in, your admin can reset your password and share the new one with you.

From the web dashboard, an admin opens the Users page, opens the row menu next to your name, and selects Reset User Password. They then share the new password with you so you can sign in.

An admin can also sign you out everywhere using Logout From All Devices on the same row menu. If that happens, sign back in with your email and password.

For the full reset walkthrough, see Reset your driver password.
