Mobile Driver App

Download the driver app

Download the Upper Driver app on iPhone (App Store) or Android (Google Play). Search for Upper Driver, confirm the publisher is Upper Inc., then sign in to see your routes.

The Upper Driver app runs on both iPhone (iOS) and Android phones. Download it from the App Store or Google Play, then sign in with your own email address and the password Upper emailed you when your dispatcher added you as a driver. Once you're signed in, the routes your dispatcher assigns to you appear in the app, ready to navigate.

Your workspace may label your role Driver or Technician depending on how your company set up Upper. The download and sign-in steps are the same either way.

Before you start

  • A smartphone — The Upper Driver app runs on iOS and Android. It is not available on desktop.
  • An internet connection — You need signal to download the app and sign in for the first time.
  • Your sign-in details — Your own email address and the password Upper emailed you when your dispatcher added you.

Download and install the app

Open your phone's app store

Open the App Store on iPhone or Google Play on Android.

Search for Upper Driver

Search for the Upper Driver app. Several route planners have similar names, so confirm the publisher is Upper Inc. before you install.

Install the app

Tap Get (iPhone) or Install (Android) and wait for the download to finish.

Open the app and sign in

Open the app and sign in with your email address and the password Upper emailed you. Your assigned routes appear, ready to navigate.

If your dispatcher shared a QR code with you — for example from the onboarding checklist in the web app — scan it with your phone's camera. It sends iPhones to the App Store and Android phones to Google Play automatically.

When your dispatcher adds you as a driver, Upper emails you a password for your account. That email is the fastest way to get set up — see Accept your driver invitation.
