Upper driver app on iOS and Android

The Upper Driver app runs on iPhone (App Store) and Android (Google Play). Dispatchers plan routes in the web app; drivers receive and run them on the phone app.

Upper has a native driver app for both iPhone (iOS) and Android phones. Dispatchers plan and send routes from the Upper web app at my.upperinc.com, and drivers receive and run those routes on the phone app. The phone app is the tool drivers use day to day — to see assigned stops, navigate, and capture proof of delivery.

Your workspace may label the role Driver or Technician, and the proof step Proof of Delivery or Proof of Service, depending on how your company set up Upper. The app works the same either way.

Where to get it

The app is available from both major app stores:

PlatformWhere to download
iPhone (iOS)App Store
AndroidGoogle Play

The web app at my.upperinc.com is where dispatchers and admins plan routes — drivers don't run their daily stops there. Routes planned on the web are sent to the driver's phone, where the driver works them.

How to install it

Open your phone's app store

Open the App Store on iPhone or Google Play on Android.

Search for Upper Driver

Search for the Upper Driver app and confirm the publisher is Upper Inc. before you install.

Install and sign in

Install the app, then sign in with your own email address and the password Upper emailed you when your dispatcher added you. Your assigned routes appear, ready to navigate.

If your dispatcher shared a QR code with you, you can scan it with your phone's camera. It sends iPhones to the App Store and Android phones to Google Play automatically.
