Schedule automated reports
Turn on Summary Reports in Upper from Settings > Automations to get route performance and driver stats emailed automatically every week or month.
Upper can email you a recurring performance summary so you never have to remember to pull one. Turn on Summary Reports once and Upper sends route performance metrics and driver statistics on the schedule you choose — without anyone opening Analytics.
Why this matters
Ad-hoc reporting gets skipped. A scheduled summary shows up on the same day every time, so weekly ops reviews and monthly leadership check-ins stay consistent and you always have a recent snapshot of how the operation is performing.
Where to find it
Summary Reports lives under Settings → Automations → Summary Reports. It is one of the Automations in Upper, alongside Vehicle Compliance Alerts and Auto Stop Detection.
Turn on Summary Reports
Open the setting
Go to Settings in the left sidebar, open Automations, then select Summary Reports.
Enable the report
Switch on Enable Summary Reports. This is the master toggle that turns automated email reporting on.
Choose how often it sends
Set Report Frequency. Choose a cadence such as Weekly (Every Monday) or Monthly.
Choose the file format
Set Report Format to your preferred file type (for example, PDF).
Save
Click Save Changes.
Once saved, Upper sends the summary automatically on your chosen schedule.
When reports send
The send time and coverage window are set by Upper:
| Frequency | When it sends | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| Weekly | Every Monday at 8:00 AM | The previous 7 days |
| Monthly | The 1st of each month at 8:00 AM | The previous month |
What's in the report
Each Summary Report includes:
- Total routes and completion rates
- Service success metrics (completed vs. failed stops)
- Individual driver/technician performance statistics
- Period-over-period comparisons
Labels in your workspace may read Technician and Service instead of Driver and Delivery. The wording is configurable per workspace; the report contents are the same either way.
Pair a weekly summary with a one-off detailed export when you need stop-by-stop numbers. Summary Reports give you the recurring high-level snapshot; for granular or filtered data, run an export from Analytics. See Export reports — PDF and CSV.
