Export stop addresses after route completion
Pull a stop address list from a completed Upper route — quick Export Addresses, a CSV from Analytics with address columns, or the PDF Detailed Report.
Upper gives you three ways to pull the address list off a completed route. The right one depends on whether you want a quick list, a CSV with delivery data attached, or a printable report.
Why this matters
Address lists from finished routes feed reattempt routes, follow-up campaigns, recurring route templates, and customer-by-customer reporting. Knowing the three paths lets you pick the format that needs the least rework.
Default labels in this article use driver and delivery wording (Driver Name, Stop Address). Your workspace may show Technician and Service labels instead — the steps are the same.
Option 1 — Export Addresses (quick list from one route)
Each route in the Route Plan list has a row action menu with an Export Addresses option. Use it when an address list from a single route is all you need.
Open Route Plan from the left sidebar.
Find the completed route and open its row action menu (the icon at the end of the route's row).
Select Export Addresses. Upper exports the stop addresses for that route.
Option 2 — CSV from Analytics (addresses with delivery data)
Choose this when you want address data joined with delivery outcomes — useful for seeing where you delivered versus where a stop failed, or for pulling addresses across several routes at once.
Open Analytics from the Track group in the left sidebar.
In the View by dropdown, choose Route Plan Detailed Report (one row per stop).
Open the Filter panel (filter icon, top-right) and narrow to the route(s) and date range you want, then click Apply. The Select Route Plan, Drivers, Date Range, Route Plan Status, and Stop Status filters are available here.
Click the Customize Columns icon (the table/grid icon, top-right) to open the Edit Column modal. Check the address columns you need — for example Stop Address, Stop City, Stop State, Stop Zipcode, Country, Full Name, Business Name, Latitude, and Longitude — drag to reorder, then click Done. Upper remembers your column choice for this report.
Click Export (top-right) to open the Export modal. Set the Export File Name, pick a Format (CSV or XLS), choose Default or Custom fields, then click Start Export. Tick Send e-mail when Export is complete if you'd rather get the file by email.
For recurring exports — same routes, same columns, every week — set the columns once in the Edit Column modal. Upper saves the column selection per report, so each weekly export is just filter, Export, Start Export.
Option 3 — PDF Detailed Report (printable, with delivery details)
Choose this when you want a shareable record that lists each stop's address alongside its delivery details.
Open Route Plan from the left sidebar.
Open the route's row action menu and select Detailed Report (PDF).
Upper generates the PDF. It lists each stop with its address and delivery details, including proof of delivery where it was captured.
When to use each
