Export all route data
Export full stop-level route data from Upper's Route Plan Detailed Report. Set a date range, pick your routes and columns, and download as CSV or XLS.
The Route Plan Detailed Report in Upper gives you the deepest dataset the app offers — one row per stop, with addresses, timing, status, proof of delivery, and GPS coordinates. Use it when you need everything in a single file you can archive, audit, or load into another tool.
Why this matters
A full export is how you keep records beyond what you'd page through on screen, run analysis Upper doesn't build in, or move data into your own warehouse or BI tool. The Detailed Report hands you raw stop-level data ready to be opened in a spreadsheet or imported elsewhere.
Default labels in this article are driver and delivery. Your workspace may show technician and service instead — the wording is configurable, but the steps are the same.
Export the full dataset
Open Analytics
In the left sidebar, open Track → Analytics.
Choose the Route Plan Detailed Report
Open the View by dropdown and select Route Plan Detailed Report for stop-level rows. (Choose Route Plan Summary Report instead if you only need one row per route.)
Set your filters
Open the Filter panel from the top-right filter icon and set:
- Date Range — cover every route you want to export. (The report defaults to the last 7 days.)
- Select Route Plan — choose All, or pick specific route plans.
- Drivers — choose All, or filter to specific drivers.
- Optionally narrow by Route Plan Status or Stop Status.
Then choose Apply.
Open the Export modal
Select the Export button (top-right). The Export modal opens.
Set the file name, format, and fields
- Export File Name — pre-filled with the report name; rename if you like.
- Format — choose CSV or XLS.
- Fields — use the Default tab to export the report's standard field set, or switch to Custom to pick exactly which fields to include and reorder them. The Custom tab has Select All / Select None toggles.
- Optionally tick Send e-mail when Export is complete.
Start the export
Select Start Export to generate the file.
For very large date ranges, export in smaller batches — a month at a time is easier to verify and handle than a full year in one file.
What the Route Plan Detailed Report includes
You can include any of these columns (one row per stop). Pick and reorder them on the Custom tab of the Export modal, or in the Edit Column (Customize Columns) settings:
- Route Name, Route Date, Driver Name, Driver Phone
- Stop No, Stop Address, Stop City, Stop State, Stop Zipcode, Country
- Full Name, Stop Nick Name, Business Name, Phone, Email
- Latitude, Longitude, Attempted Lat, Attempted Long, Distance
- From / To time windows (up to two windows per stop)
- Stop Type, Stop Priority, Service Time (average time per stop)
- Start At, Arrive At, Completion Time
- Stop Status, Reason
- Notes, Notes From Driver, Notes For Team
- Photo, Signature
Photos and signatures export as references, not embedded images, and ETAs and durations are based on historical traffic data.
Common scenarios
- Periodic data backup — Export a fixed window (for example, the previous month) on a regular cadence and stack the files in your archive.
- Move into a BI tool — Export with the Custom field set you need, then import into your warehouse. Because the columns are stable, the pipeline is a one-time setup.
- Audit pull for one contract — Filter by the matching route plan and date range, then export with the columns the auditor asked for.

Data retention policy
Upper keeps your route and delivery history available in Analytics. For long-term records — audits, compliance, year-over-year — export regularly and archive externally.
Export data for external analysis
Export any Upper Analytics report so you can analyze it in Excel, Google Sheets, or your BI tool. Filter first, pick your columns, then export the file.
