Change your password
Change your Upper Solo password from the Profile menu. Forgot your password? Use the Forgot Password link on the login page to reset it via email.
Update your Upper Solo password whenever you need to — from inside the dashboard if you're already logged in, or from the login page if you've forgotten it.
Why this matters
A strong, unique password is the first defense against account takeover. Rotate it after any suspected compromise or whenever someone with shared access leaves the team.
Before you start
- Plan requirement — Available on every plan.
- Permissions — Anyone with a login can change their own password.
Step-by-step: change your password while logged in
- Click your Profile Icon in the top right corner of the dashboard.
- Select "Change Password".
- Enter your current password.
- Enter your new password.
- Confirm the new password.
- Click "Save".
Password requirements
- Minimum 8 characters.
- Use a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols.
Step-by-step: reset a forgotten password
- Go to the Upper login page.
- Click "Forgot Password".
- Enter your email address.
- Check your inbox for the reset link (check spam if you don't see it).
- Open the link and set a new password.
Use a unique password not shared with other services. A password manager makes this practical across the team.
Troubleshooting
- The reset email didn't arrive — Check your spam folder. If it still hasn't arrived after 10 minutes, confirm the email on your Upper account matches the one you entered on the Forgot Password screen.
- The reset link says "expired" — Reset links expire for security. Request a new one from the Forgot Password page.
