Billing And Account
Access the Admin dashboard
The Upper Solo Admin dashboard is visible automatically when you log in with an Admin role. Dispatch Managers see only routes, tracking, and reports.
Upper Solo shows the Admin dashboard automatically when you log in as an Admin. There's no separate URL or toggle — your role determines what you see.
Why this matters
Admin access gates billing, user management, API keys, and company-wide settings. If you can't see these sections, your role is the reason — not a missing feature.
Before you start
- Plan requirement — Available on every plan.
- Permissions — Admin or Owner role required to see admin features.
How role-based access works
- Admin users see the full dashboard with all settings, user management, and billing options.
- Dispatch Manager users see only dispatch-related features: routes, tracking, and reports.
- Only the Owner can promote another user to Admin.
Step-by-step: confirm Admin access
- Log in at app.upperinc.com.
- Look at the left sidebar. If you see "Users", "Settings", and "Billing", you're logged in as an Admin.
- If those options are missing, you're logged in as a Dispatch Manager.
Step-by-step: get added as an Admin
The account Owner must add you. Ask the Owner to:
- Go to "Users" in the left sidebar.
- Click "Add User".
- Select "Admin" as the role.
- Enter your name and email.
- Save. You'll receive an invitation by email to join as an Admin.
Only the Owner can add Admin users. If you need Admin access, contact your account Owner — Admins cannot grant Admin to others.
Troubleshooting
- I should be an Admin but the Billing section is missing — Confirm with the Owner that your role is Admin (not Dispatch Manager). Roles are set at user creation and can be edited from
Users > Three-dot Icon > Edit. - I never received the invitation email — Check spam, then ask the Owner to resend from the user list.
