Change date and time display formats
Upper Solo displays dates and times based on your account region and timezone. Set your timezone in User Settings to control how times appear throughout the dashboard.
Upper Solo uses a standard date and time format tied to your account region and configured timezone. There is no separate custom-format picker — your timezone setting is the primary control.
Why this matters
Times appear in routes, time windows, reports, customer notifications, and the driver app. Inconsistent or wrong-region time displays cause confusion across dispatch and customer-facing surfaces.
How display formats work
- Date format — Displayed in a standard format throughout the dashboard, reports, and exports.
- Time format — Follows 12-hour (AM/PM) or 24-hour format based on your account region.
- Timezone — Configurable in
Settings > General > User Settings.
Where dates and times appear
- Route plan dates
- Time windows on stops
- Analytics and reports
- Export files (CSV, PDF)
- Customer notifications
- Driver app
Step-by-step: confirm your timezone is right
- Open
Settings > General > User Settings. - Find the Timezone setting.
- Select the timezone that matches your dispatch region.
- Save.
Exported CSV files use a standard date/time format compatible with Excel and Google Sheets. If you need a specific format for external reporting, reformat the column in your spreadsheet app after export.
Common scenarios
- Times in customer notifications look wrong by several hours — Your timezone is set to the wrong region. Fix in User Settings; new notifications use the corrected timezone.
- You need different date formats per region — Upper does not support per-user format overrides. Pick one timezone for the account.
