What information is shown on the tracking page

See what your Upper customer tracking page can show — ETA, driver name and phone, delivery address, map, and proof of delivery — and how to turn each on or off.

The tracking page is the live page your customers open from the link in their notifications. It shows them where their delivery stands — the ETA, who's bringing it, the address, and, after the stop is done, proof of delivery. You decide which of these details appear by turning toggles on or off in Settings.

Your workspace may use service labels instead of delivery labels. Where this article says driver, Delivery Address, or Proof of Delivery, a service-configured workspace shows technician, Service Address, and Proof of Service. Both control the same settings.

Where these settings live

Go to Manage > Settings, then open Branded Tracking in the Notifications group. The controls for what customers see are on the Display and POD tabs.

Delivery details (Display tab)

Open the Display tab to turn each detail on or off. These are on by default unless noted:

  • Show Driver Name — the name of the driver handling the stop.
  • Show Driver Phone — the driver's phone number.
  • Show ETA — the estimated arrival. When on, an ETA Display Format dropdown appears so you can choose how the ETA reads: Time Window (e.g. 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM), Exact Time (e.g. 9:23 AM), or Stops Away (e.g. 3 stops away).
  • Show Vehicle Info — vehicle type, color, and plate. Off by default.
  • Show Delivery Address — the stop's delivery location.
  • Show Map — the driver's position on a map.

ETAs are calculated from historical traffic data for the route's time of day, not a live traffic feed.

Show Map is the right choice for deliveries where the customer is waiting and wants to see the driver approaching. For routes where a live map isn't useful, leave it off. The live driver-on-map view (Show Map) requires the Optimize or Enterprise plan — on Professional the toggle shows a Pro badge and opens an upgrade prompt, and customers see the updating ETA without the map.

Proof of delivery (POD tab)

After a stop is completed, the page can show proof of delivery. Open the POD tab to choose what appears. All are on by default:

  • Show POD Photo — the delivery photo. When on, a Photo Display Size dropdown lets you choose Thumbnail, Full Size, or Gallery View.
  • Show Signature — the captured signature.
  • Show Delivery Notes — the driver's completion notes.
  • Show Completion Timestamp — the exact time the stop was completed.

Other tabs that shape the page

The Display and POD tabs control the delivery details. Two more tabs change what else customers see and can do:

  • Content sets the wording — the greeting, thank-you message, footer, your support contact details, and Terms and Privacy links.
  • Features controls interactive options — letting customers message the driver, copy the tracking link, or opt in to push notifications.

For the full walkthrough of all the tabs, see Customize the tracking page appearance.
