Include company branding in notifications

Brand the notifications and tracking page your customers see in Upper — company name, logo, colors, your own email/SMS sender, and removing the Upper badge.

The tracking link and the SMS or email update are often a customer's first impression after they order from you. Upper lets you brand that experience — your company name inside the messages, your logo and colors on the live tracking page, and, on higher plans, your own sending address and removal of the Upper badge.

Branding lives in two places, both under Manage > Settings in the NOTIFICATIONS group:

  • Notifications — sets the Company Name that fills the [Company Name] tag in your message templates, and (where available) lets you connect your own email and SMS sender under Branded Notification.
  • Branded Tracking — controls the look of the customer-facing tracking page: logo, colors, fonts, and content.

Labels are configurable per workspace. This article uses the Delivery / driver defaults; a workspace set up for service businesses may show Service / technician instead (for example "Out For Service" rather than "Out For Delivery"). The features are the same.

Add your company name to messages

The Company Name you set appears wherever a template includes the [Company Name] tag — for example the default Out For Delivery subject, "Your order from [Company Name] is on the way."

Open the Notifications settings

Go to Manage > Settings and open Notifications in the NOTIFICATIONS group.

Edit the Company Name

At the top of the page, edit the Company Name field (it has a pencil icon).

Confirm it in your templates

Any template that includes the [Company Name] tag now shows the new name. The change applies to messages sent after you save — past messages are not updated.

Brand the tracking page

The customer-facing live tracking page is styled on the Branded Tracking page, which is organized into tabs (Branding, Content, Display, Features, POD, Post-Delivery, and — on Enterprise — an Enterprise tab, plus Preview).

Open Branded Tracking

Go to Manage > Settings and open Branded Tracking.

On the Branding tab, use Upload Logo (or Change Logo) under Company Logo. Accepted formats are PNG, JPG, and SVG, up to 5 MB. Use Remove to clear it.

Set your colors

Set Primary Brand Color (used for buttons, links, and accents) and Font Color (used for text), using the hex input, the color picker, or a preset swatch.

Add your wording

On the Content tab, set your Custom Greeting Text, Thank You Message, Footer Text, and your Support Contact Information (phone, email, support URL).

Preview your changes

Open the Preview tab to see how the page will look with your current settings before customers do.

On the Content tab you can use placeholders such as {customer_name} and {company_name} in your greeting and footer so the page greets each customer by name.

Use your own email and SMS sender

Where your plan includes it, the Notifications page has a Branded Notification section with a Custom Email & SMS Configuration card. This lets you send from your own infrastructure instead of Upper's default sender.

  • Email Configuration opens a drawer to set up your own SMTP server. Fields include From Name, From Email, Username, Password, SMTP Host, and SMTP Port, plus a Test Connection button.
  • SMS Configuration opens a drawer to connect your own Twilio account. Fields include Phone Number, Twilio SID (Account SID), and Twilio Auth Token, plus Test Connection.

Use Test Connection before Save Changes to confirm the credentials work.

By default, notification emails send from do-not-reply@upperinc.com. Connecting your own SMTP server replaces that with your own From address.

Remove "Powered by Upper" (Enterprise)

Full white-labeling lives on the Enterprise tab of the Branded Tracking page, which appears on Enterprise plans only. There you can:

  • Toggle off Remove "Powered by Upper" for a fully branded tracking page.
  • Upload a Custom Favicon (max 1 MB).
  • Add a Promotional Banner with a link and banner text.
  • Set a Custom Domain (for example track.yourcompany.com) so the tracking page runs on your own URL.
