See which stops a driver has completed
Track which stops a driver has finished in Upper from Live Tracking and the Tasks Completed tab, with proof of delivery, timestamps, and notes.
Once a route is on the road, Upper shows you how far each driver has gotten — how many stops are done out of the total, the percentage of the route completed, and the proof of delivery captured along the way. You can answer "is that stop done yet?" without calling the driver.
This guide uses driver and Proof of Delivery. Your workspace may be set up to show Technician and Proof of Service instead — the screens and steps are the same.
Two places to check progress
- Live Tracking — the at-a-glance view while a route is in progress. Each driver has a card showing stops done out of total, route completion percentage, and an expandable list of their stops.
- Tasks → Completed — the record of finished stops, with proof of delivery, timestamps, and notes, after drivers wrap up.
Check live progress in Live Tracking
In the left sidebar, go to Track → Live Tracking.
Use the route selector dropdown at the top to choose the route plan you want to follow.
Find the driver in the list on the left. Their card shows Stops done / total (for example, "Stops 4/12"), total time and distance, a status pill, and a Route Complete X% indicator.
Click View Details on the driver's card to expand their inline stop list, where each stop has a Status column.
Use Edit Column above the stop list to choose which columns appear. Alongside Status, you can add columns such as Actual Duration, Actual Distance, Start Time, End Time, Reason, Notes, Note from Driver, Photo, and Signature — useful for reviewing what happened at each completed stop.
Review completed stops and proof of delivery
When drivers finish their stops on a dispatched route, those stops collect in the Tasks list with their proof of delivery.
In the left sidebar, go to Plan → Tasks.
Switch the segmented control to the Completed tab. Completed stops appear here with proof of delivery, timestamps, and notes.
Use the Download button to export the completed records for your files.
Proof of delivery reflects whatever the driver captured at the stop — this can include a photo, a signature, and notes, depending on how your workspace is configured. Completion timestamps are recorded automatically.
What gets captured at each stop (such as whether a photo or signature is required) is controlled by your workspace's app configuration for drivers. If a piece of proof you expect is missing, that setting is the place to check.

Remove a stop from an in-transit route
Remove a stop from a route that's already In Transit in Upper, then share the update so the dropped stop disappears from the driver's app without rebuilding the route.

Compare each driver's actual path against the planned route in Upper. Turn on Show Actual Path in Live Tracking to spot detours, delays, and out-of-order stops.
