Password & sign-in
Sign in to Upper at my.upperinc.com, change your password, reset a forgotten password, reset a driver's password as an admin, and sign out of all devices.
You sign in to Upper at my.upperinc.com with your email and password, or by continuing with Google. This article covers changing your own password, recovering one you've forgotten, resetting a driver's password as an admin, and signing out everywhere.
This guide uses Upper's default driver and delivery labels. Your workspace may be set to show Technician instead of Driver.
How you sign in
On the Upper sign-in page you can:
- Sign in with email and password — enter the email and password for your account.
- Continue with Google — sign in using a Google account.
- Remember me — keep your email filled in on the sign-in page for next time.
Change your password
You can change your password at any time from the account menu.
Open the account menu
Sign in to my.upperinc.com, then open your account menu from your profile avatar.
Choose Change Password
Under the Profile group, select Change Password.
Enter your old and new password
In the Change Password panel, type your Old Password, then your New Password, and re-enter it under Confirm Password to match.
Save
Select Save Changes to update your password.
Use a password you don't reuse anywhere else. If you signed up with Continue with Google, you sign in through Google rather than with an Upper password.
Reset a forgotten password
If you can't remember your password, you can request reset instructions by email.
Select Forgot Password
On the sign-in page, select Forgot Password.
Enter your email
Type the email address on your account. Upper sends instructions to reset your password to that address.
Follow the email link
Open the email and follow the link to set a new password, then sign in.
If the reset email doesn't arrive, check your spam folder and confirm you entered the email your account uses. Still stuck? Contact support@upperinc.com.
Reset a driver's password as an admin
If a driver can't sign in to the mobile app, you can reset their password from the Users page.
Open the Users page
In the left sidebar, go to Manage and open the users page. You'll see your drivers listed.
Open the row action menu
On the driver's row, open the action menu (the … kebab) and choose Reset User Password.
Set the new password
In the Reset Upper Password dialog, enter a New Password for the driver and your own Owner's Password to confirm the change, then reset.
Share the new password
Give the driver their new password so they can sign in to the mobile app.
Sign a driver out of all devices
If a driver changes phones or you need to revoke access, you can sign them out everywhere.
Open the row action menu
On the driver's row on the Users page, open the … action menu.
Choose Logout From All Devices
Select Logout From All Devices. The driver is signed out of the mobile app on every device and will need to sign in again.
