Upper's GPS tracking system provides enterprise-grade location monitoring with sub-minute accuracy updates. The system processes GPS data continuously, delivering real-time insights into your fleet's movement patterns, delivery progress, and operational efficiency.
β
Getting Started: Navigate to "Live Tracking" in your dashboard sidebar to open the monitoring interface. The system immediately displays all active drivers with their current routes, status indicators, and real-time locations. Each driver is assigned a unique color-coded route (such as purple for Driver A, blue for Driver B) making it easy to distinguish between multiple active deliveries.
β
Understanding the Interface: The left panel contains driver status cards showing critical information:
Current Status: "On the Way" (actively delivering), "Not Started" (awaiting departure), or "Return to Depot" (completed route)
Progress Metrics: Stops completed (e.g., "3/32 stops"), route completion percentage, total distance
Time Estimates: ETA for completion, average speed, elapsed time
Route Details: Total miles, estimated duration, current location
Tracking Capabilities: The system monitors multiple data streams simultaneously, creating a comprehensive picture of your delivery operations. Each driver's location updates automatically, displaying their progress along planned routes with precise positioning accuracy. The interface handles multiple drivers seamlessly, maintaining distinct visual identities through color coding and numbered stop sequences.
Performance Metrics: Real-time tracking includes essential performance indicators:
Route Completion: Live percentage updates (9%, 50%, 100%) with visual progress bars
Speed Monitoring: Average speed calculations and comparative analysis
Stop Management: Completed vs. remaining stops with time stamps
Distance Tracking: Actual miles traveled vs. planned route distance
ETA Calculations: Dynamic arrival time estimates based on current progress
Key Features:
Show Actual Path Toggle: Reveals the dotted line trail showing where drivers actually traveled versus planned routes
Route Selection Dropdown: Switch between different route plans (Route Plan - 414, 415, etc.)
Real-time Updates: Automatic refresh of driver positions and status changes
Detailed View Options: Expandable driver cards with comprehensive route breakdowns
Operational Benefits: The continuous tracking enables proactive management decisions. Monitor driver productivity, identify potential delays before they impact customers, and optimize resource allocation based on real-time performance data. The system's automatic updates eliminate manual check-ins while providing the visibility needed for professional fleet management.
